'...He poured out His life unto death' - Isaiah 53:12. The above verse speaks of Christ dying on the cross for our sins. The phrase 'poured out' speaks of excess and liberality. Verbs such as sprinkle or spray are avoided, their nature far too miserly and tight-fisted. Our Saviour surrendered His soul as an offering for sin, giving Himself freely without hesitation. He held nothing back, but rather ran into the arms of death, embracing the darkness, accepting the agony. His reward would be you and I with Him for all eternity. The promise of such compelled Him. Today, I speak to you who are weary, you who are downtrodden. As our Lord died for you, He lives for you. His love is immeasurable and His concern incalculable. Certainly, He does not save only to abandon. His plan is not to ignore you until heaven becomes home. You are His child now and foever. The Lord does not desert His children. 'can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely their may forget, yet I will not forget you. See I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands', Isaiah 49 says, cry out to Him today and He will come to your aid. He is already on His way. The price He paid to make you His child was immense. You are of exceedingly great value. Precious. Cherished. Unforgettable. God bless you!!
