09-13.8. 2014, Crikvenica, Training for Trainers (T4T) for group of professors from primary schools Prijedor, Oštra Luka, RS and Sanski Most, FB&H was organized As an organization that has established the first Nansen peer mediator clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the project activities, Peace education / prevention & conflict management in primary schools, NDC Prijedor in Crikvenica, 9-13.8.2014 organized the first T4T for professors from primary schools of Prijedor, Oštra Luka and Sanski Most with the aim of adopting the basic knowledge and skills of group facilitation, creating / designing and executing training, primarily on peace education issues. With the aim of improving multi-ethnic institutional cross-entity co-operation, at the training participated multi-ethnic group of nineteen (19) professors that will in school year 2014/2015 implement peace education activities in six (6) schools from Prijedor, one (1) from Oštra Luka and three (3) from Sanski Most. With Senka Jakupović NDC trainer, consultant, the session were also organized by four (4) Nansen trainers who are involved in the program since 2010 and on this occasion they transfer the acquired knowledge and skills as well as work experience in connection with Nansen peer mediators clubs that were in 2013 opened in their schools. The work focus was the methodology of group work, sharing of knowledge, experience and skills on nonviolent communication issues. As guest trainers Mrs. Maja Uzelac Mali Korak, Zagreb, Ivana Gajović, NDC Montenegro and Dragan Šarengaća from NDC Serbia participated. In the evaluation process, participants highly evaluated this training, expressed their satisfaction, motivation and initiative to continue co-operation through the establishment of Nansen peer mediators groups starting to work from September 2014. The work of mentioned groups provide continuous work on peace education, establish a mechanism for peer conflict resolution giving an opportunity for students / mediators to help their colleagues / peers in resolving conflicts. Thank you also to Mrs. Ljuljjeta Gorani Brkić, executive director of NDC Sarajevo, who within mentioned training participated in a meeting organized for present representatives of Nansen Dialogue Network. The project is financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
