10 Steps to Praying More Effectively 1. Believe: You need to have confidence in God. You need to pray without doubt. You need to be sure that God gives generously, and His goodness endures forever. You need to believe in the power of His might. 2. Positive Response: You need to get rid of resentment. You need to be compassionate, tolerant, and understanding when relating with those around you. Positive response to life brings great reward. 3. Meditate: You need to stay away from the noise of the world. You need to focus on God the Rewarder of the desires of our heart. You need some quiet in order to listen to God. You need to stay away from the distractions of this world that You may draw closer to God. 4.
