10 years old and facing a battle most of us cant even begin to imagine. She should be picking out a new backpack and sneakers for school, not scarves for to cover where her hair once was. Her parents should have lines on their faces from smiles and laughter and tears in their eyes from happiness, not from worry over their baby or if they can make their mortgage payment this month or scrape together pennies for medical treatment so desperately needed. They are willing to fight, I dont know them, but I am not willing to let them fight alone. I want to pick up the newspaper one day and read about this little girl graduating high school, college, I want to see her wedding picture in the wedding section, - I dont want to read her obituary. I want her to live a ling, fulfilling happy life. I dont know her, but she could be the face of any of our children.
