13.2hh to make apx 14hh 6yo piebald cob mare. Extremely sweet quiet nature. Will follow you around all day - thinks she is a big dog! Loves fuss, cuddles, kisses will stand literally all day untied to be groomed and fussed. Good to bath, catch (you cant get rid of her in the field & comes to call), clip, load, travel, handle, vet, farrier, chiro. Good with the smallest of children and dogs. Kids can get her in from the field ride her in bareback etc. She stupidly somehow managed to get her two front feet in a 5 bar gate when she first arrived and stood stock still while 2 fire engines arrived to cut her loose! Shows how placid her nature is, no sedation needed and no injuries obtained whatsoever (thank goodness!). The kids at the yard back flip off her, do around the world, scissors etc and she will stand and fall asleep. Very good conformation, lots of bone and feather. Very active behind, big paces when asked. Nicely marked, with an extremely kind eye. Still growing (everytime she starts filling out her bum shoots up) but will be a very stocky girl. Hacks out alone in company in front or behind. Happy to be left behind and otehrs go off ahead. Good in the heaviest of traffic, not spooky or silly type but obviously still a baby. Goes along on a loose rein, if you pick up a contact she will work down onto the bit and/or go much slower. Ridden in a happy mouth snaffle. Can lead 2 horses from her whilst riding or lead her from another horse - although needs to be of a similar (slow) pace! Anyones ride, from novice 5yos off LR hacking to 53yo extremely extremely nervous rider. Has been hunted 3 times by 10 year old girl (rider and horses first time) and she was absolutely faultless - I was a very proud mummy! Also took me out and looked after me faultlessly when I had done my back in. Wasnt fazed by horses, hounds, quad, eagle, cars etc. Didnt get strong or fizzy when everyone set off and looked after her jockey faultlessly. Stood around on a loose rein when other horses were backing in to her etc. Has been sj schooling with us and didnt quite understand why she should have to pick her feet up over poles but started getting the hang of it by the end - so a little more practice needed here. Wasnt fazed by fillers, skinnies & spreads. Went XC schooling and clocked on very quickly jumping a range of fencing including hedges, logs, drops, jumping in and out of water, jumps in water, barrels, palisades etc etc. Gave and took leads. Was happy with everyone going off ahead and went round a little course on her own. Has jumped up to 29ft with us proving to be an economical jumper and havethe potential to go to apx 33ft. Did go out on trial to riding school but they used an ill fitting saddle so she came home (didnt do anything nasty just kicked out into canter). She has since had her back done and they said she was sore but after a few days off will be fine (as she is - also open to any vetting). Only £2000 ono price will increase once she has been xc schooling. Open to vetting, multiple viewings and comes with our 28 day trial policy.
