The BBL has not yet been approved but the MILF is already showing their VILE TREACHERY with the killing of 49 policemen who entered their camp to arrest some MALASIAN TERRORISTS that they hide therein. This government will not only look FOOLISH and KUCKLED if it approves the BBL. The indefinite suspension on the deliberations over the BBL orderend by Senator Bongbong Marcos is the right thing to do. Spineless administration Written by Ninez Cacho-Olivares / Tuesday, 27 January 2015 00:00 All the arguments of the government peace panelists in defending the Bangsamoro Basic Law draft were found not only clearly defective but also constitutionally flawed, despite the fact that the chief government negotiator, Miriam Coronel, tried to veer away from the constitutional by bringing the BBL into the political sphere, which was also for naught, as pointed out by the erudite former justices of the Supreme Court. Yet Noynoy and his peace panelists have been warned even long before the hearing held by Sen. Miriam Santiago, that too many provisions in the BBL were patently unconstitutional — and these warnings came mainly from even non-constitutionalists, such as media commentators and observers. The point being made in bringing this particular aspect into the picture is not to make it appear that the media commentators are knowledgeable in matters of the Constitution and the law, because too many hardly that. This is merely to state that it did not need constitutional experts to realize that the BBL is patently unconstitutional. Still, Noynoy and his peace negotiators insist on the BBL as drafted, can pass constitutional muster, refusing to heed the Filipino people, and listening only to what the MILF wants. There is still no BBL, yet it has now been made very clear that the Moro Islamic Liberation Front is still acting as outlaws, despite there still being no Bangsamoro government, no territory being owned by the MILF and no government powers, not even our police or military, for that matter, can even be made to serve an arrest order, without first seeking permission from the MILF! This is still no BBL signed into law nor even passed by Congress, yet the Philippine government can’t even get into its territory to hand over arrest orders to terrorists unless permission — going by the name of “coordination” is made between the police and the MILF? The MILF will know in advance just who is being sought by the police and can easily hide those fugitives to be arrested as they are part of the MILF group that moreover plays ball with Islamist terrorists as well as the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters. This time it is the MILF that massacred nearly three dozen police special forces who were clearly not ready for a firefight, as they expected the MILF, which the peace panelists have been trying to portray as composed of law-abiding citizens of the republic, and out for peace in Mindanao, to respect authority and yes, territorial domain that belongs to the Filipino people, and not just the Muslims. That was not even respected by the MILF as it massacred the police special forces team. Why should the duly constituted Philippine authorities be barred from doing their duty by the Islamic armed group and in Philippine territory — as Maguindano, or wherever it was that the MILF was in killing all these police authorities, even have to seek permission from a rebel group to enter and serve the arrest warrants? The territory does not belong to the MILF. That the BBL is not going to change anything within the MILF even when it hopes to become a substate that will lead to its independence, has been made clear. Its latest action against the government authorities proves this. What is even more shameless is the fact that this Noynoy administration has not even condemned the massacre of the police special forces by the MILF — not before, when a similar incident occurred in the past, and not now — for fear of offending the MILF. This administration not only has no balls to protect the Philippine territory but also has no concern at all for the protection of its sovereignty and the duly constituted authorities serving an arrest warrant to terrorists being coddled by the MILF. This administration of Noynoy and its peace panelists are as spineless as the jellyfish and serve the Filipino people so poorly.
