15 Questions for President Jonathan As He Visits Kwara. Before President Goodluck Jonathan campaign train stop-over in Kwara State on Monday in continuation of his political commentaries, rather than speeches with records of what he has done and what he intends to do, across the country. History and the challenges of Todays Nigeria have made it essential to appeal to President Goodluck Jonathan and his supporters to address the people of Kwara State on the yet-unfulfilled and broken promises President Jonathan made to the good people of Kwara State on 22nd of February, 2011 when he campaigned at Metropolitan Square, Ilorin. Indeed, it is essential that Mr President addresses his failed promises before he begin to make another litany of promises on Monday. As at today, after four years, President Jonathan is yet to fulfil any of the promises he made to Kwarans in 2011. Kwarans, Can Jonathan be trusted again? Why has President Jonathan failed to complete the irrigation project in Shonga as promised? GEJ promised to tackle poverty, why did he not tackle poverty? He promised agricultural transformation of Kwara State, has he? He promised the rehabilitation of the Ilorin-Mokwa Road, why has he refuse to fix the road? He promised to complete Lagos to Jebba rail project, has he? President Jonathan promised to deliver stable, constant supply of electricity, why is there no improvement in power supply till today? President Jonathan said Kwarans will not use generators again, why has he failed to fulfil his promise? President Jonathan promised to create jobs, why has he refused to create jobs for Kwarans? Why has GEJ not build industries in Kwara State as promised? Where is the fund budgeted for the purpose of granting loans to farmers? What has Mr President given Kwarans in return for votes he got in 2011? Why has President Jonathan failed to fulfil his promises to the people of Kwara State despite the huge resources at his disposal? What have Kwarans done to deserve total neglect from the President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration? Since it is glaring that Mr. President has a catalogue of unfulfilled promises in Kwara State, Mr. President should tell Kwarans why he should not be voted out of power on February 14? The last time Kwarans benefited from the Presidency was during the tenure of Late President Umaru Musa Yaradua. Kwarans are eagerly waiting to vote out President Jonathan come February 14.
