1971 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler original C-code 429CJ with a 4-speed, factory AC and a 3.25 31 Spline Nodular cased Traction-Lok rear! Original Competition Blue car with Blue Interior. This is a VERY RARE car with it being one of only 25 Spoilers built with this powertrain. It was sold new in Merced, California and spent many years as a street racer out there. It was THE local hot rod and was raced relentlessly on both street and strip!! You can see where they had cut the original scooped hood for a Tunnel Ram Intake! UGH!! I found this car languishing in the high desert in Cali sitting in a storage facility where it had been stored for many many years sans motor and trans. Word is that the engine and trans had found there way into a pulling truck!! This car while weathered; is a ROCK solid California car and actually has whats left of its original Comp Blue paint. I am in the process of assembling this car now to make it a VERY patinad driver......
