Jesus invited others to transform their lives, become members of his family and live up to their full potential. Storytelling is the most successful form of marketing. The world Jesus inhabited, much like today, contained a smorgasbord of diverse philosophies, religions and deities. Jesus realized that if his gospels, good news, were to spread throughout the world, they needed a good marketing plan. As such, Jesus recruited twelve men, apostles, and commanded them to Go therefore and make disciples of all the nation.... What followed is one of the most successful marketing campaigns the world has ever known. The apostles accomplished their mission by literally giving door to door, like modern - day salesmen, sharing the story of the gospels with others who in turn recruited other followers who did the same. Jesus was perhaps the worlds first network marketer. Jesus preached a gospel of love and forgiveness to the poor, outcast and downtrodden, those who were most receptive to his message of redemption. Jesus further promoted his teachings by healing the sick, feeding the hungry and raising the dead. As word spread of his miraculous deeds,Jesus achieved the pinnacle of marketing; he became famous. It has been said many times that you can get everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is not only morally correct but also a practical means to achieve your dreams. However, in this modern day of mass advertising and short attention spans, people have to know that you exist, that you have the solution to what they need, want or desire. Marketing a s a success secret is as relevant today as it was in the time of the Christ.
