(2)- FIRE FIGHTER/EMTP Code: 2015-3 Location: 5300 (FIRE) Grade: 18 (GRADE 18) Group: 40 (FIRE) HOURLY RATE RANGE: $15.28-$24.68 ANNUAL SALARY $40,103 (NOT INCLUDING OT) (2)-Firefighter/Paramedic preferred but will consider FF/EMT-Intermediate (reduced salary and must obtain EMT-P certification within 2 years). Minimum salaries do not include scheduled OT. Graduation from an accredited high school, supplemented with additional advanced courses and seminars in fire service and EMT-Paramedic training. Experience at the fire engineer/EMT-P level in a fire fighting company preferred. Good working knowledge of local patient care protocols helpful. Possession of an appropriate valid NC class B driver’s license; possession of NCEMT-Paramedic certification; Must be ACLS & PALS certified, completion of BTLS or PHTLS encouraged.
