2 months back there was this song Naaaaaan tune aaaytaen in sound cloud and it was very popular at that time.... But I felt it was vv amateurish and didnt like it even after 2-3 hearings... Only today when my roommate played I movie songs, I listened to naan Merselaayten and realized that tune aayten song was exact replica of merselaayten.... Now what I thought was an amateur tune was actually a song from one of the most anticipated movie I which makes me wonder if a person listens to a random song without having any idea on who composed it or from which movie it is, will he enjoy the song the same way as compared knowing before hand that his favorite musician has composed? I doubt so... I feel we have already made up our mind that the song would be beautiful just because our favorite musician has composed or our fav hero has sung.... Conclusion If you hide the details of a random song on who composed or sang etc and ask people to listen, then ul know how classy the musicians and singers r these days... Thats where I believe songs from movies like Roja will stand test of time and will appeal to any random guy but sadly are no more composed.... Could be because of change in style of movies taken these days that melody is gone... Could be so many other reasons... May be im totally wrong too.. But just felt so...
