20 November 2014 Media Advisory Deputy Minister lays a charge against a DA Member of Parliament. The Deputy Minister of Higher a Education and Training Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP has laid a charge against a DA Member of Parliament Ms Juanita Terblanche for provocation, intimidation and verbal assault. He opened the case at the Cape Town police station. Ms Terblanche crossed from the opposition benches to the ruling party benches at the height of serious tension in the chamber after the National Assembly erupted into chaos. The Deputy Minister then sought to intervene by requesting Ms Terblanche to go back to her seat. Ms Terblanche went on to insult the Deputy Minister in a highly provocative way. After suffering from the assault, the Deputy Minister sought legal advise and he has since accepted the advise given to him to lay a charge of intimidation and verbal assault against Ms Terblanche.
