20 months ago I made a wise decision to continue to pursue and advance my education. I am a single mother to both a toddler and a teenager, I work full-time, I have maintained an active social and family life and have faced countless obstacles over the course of this journey. Going into it I knew with faith in the Most high, faith in myself and dedication I could do it. I have lost sleep, cried and had to say no to people, when my heart wanted to say yes. It has not been easy but I am beyond happy to say that just a few minutes ago I hit submit on the last assignment needed to complete my mission. I am not posting this to boast about my accomplishment, but instead as a way to motivate anyone who feels like they want to go back to school but fear the challenge or the possibility of failure. If I did it, so can you! Anything is possible and the best investment you can make is in yourself and your future. 20 months down, now begins the 18 month journey to get my Masters degree. Cant stop, wont stop! Onward to celebrate!!! Wepa! I did it baby!
