2013年12月1日 降臨節第１主日 ☆Advent Sunday☆ 夕の礼拝 Evening service +.――゜+.――゜+.――゜+.――゜ ◆第一日課 The first lesson イザヤ書 Isaiah 1:1-9 アモツの子イザヤが、ユダとエルサレムについて見た幻。これはユダの王、ウジヤ、ヨタム、アハズ、ヒゼキヤの治世のことである。 ・ユダの審判 天よ聞け、地よ耳を傾けよ、主が語られる。わたしは子らを育てて大きくした。しかし、彼らはわたしに背いた。牛は飼い主を知り／ろばは主人の飼い葉桶を知っている。しかし、イスラエルは知らず／わたしの民は見分けない。災いだ、罪を犯す国、咎の重い民／悪を行う者の子孫、堕落した子らは。彼らは主を捨て／イスラエルの聖なる方を侮り、背を向けた。何故、お前たちは背きを重ね／なおも打たれようとするのか／頭は病み、心臓は衰えているのに。頭から足の裏まで、満足なところはない。打ち傷、鞭のあと、生傷は／ぬぐわれず、包まれず／油で和らげてもらえない。お前たちの地は荒廃し、町々は焼き払われ／田畑の実りは、お前たちの目の前で／異国の民が食い尽くし／異国の民に覆されて、荒廃している。そして、娘シオンが残った／包囲された町として。ぶどう畑の仮小屋のように／きゅうり畑の見張り小屋のように。もし、万軍の主がわたしたちのために／わずかでも生存者を残されなかったなら／わたしたちはソドムのようになり／ゴモラに似たものとなっていたであろう。 The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the Lord has spoken: ‘I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.’ Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord ; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. Why should you be beaten any more? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness – only wounds and bruises and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil. Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers. Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege. Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah. ◆第二日課 The second lesson テサロニケの信徒への手紙Ⅰ 5:1-11 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 兄弟たち、その時と時期についてあなたがたには書き記す必要はありません。盗人が夜やって来るように、主の日は来るということを、あなたがた自身よく知っているからです。人々が「無事だ。安全だ」と言っているそのやさきに、突然、破滅が襲うのです。ちょうど妊婦に産みの苦しみがやって来るのと同じで、決してそれから逃れられません。しかし、兄弟たち、あなたがたは暗闇の中にいるのではありません。ですから、主の日が、盗人のように突然あなたがたを襲うことはないのです。あなたがたはすべて光の子、昼の子だからです。わたしたちは、夜にも暗闇にも属していません。従って、ほかの人々のように眠っていないで、目を覚まし、身を慎んでいましょう。眠る者は夜眠り、酒に酔う者は夜酔います。しかし、わたしたちは昼に属していますから、信仰と愛を胸当てとして着け、救いの希望を兜としてかぶり、身を慎んでいましょう。神は、わたしたちを怒りに定められたのではなく、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストによる救いにあずからせるように定められたのです。主は、わたしたちのために死なれましたが、それは、わたしたちが、目覚めていても眠っていても、主と共に生きるようになるためです。ですから、あなたがたは、現にそうしているように、励まし合い、お互いの向上に心がけなさい。 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘Peace and safety’, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
