FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS Applications are invited from students that are currently studying at tertiary institutions, as well as learners that have passed Grade 12, for financial assistance towards studies for the 2015 academic year. The award is restricted to full-time study and attendance at SAQA accredited tertiary institutions and is eligible to any student that is residing within the Eden municipal area. Applicants interested to study in the following fields, will be considered: Public Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Auditing, Economic Development, Communication, Information Technology, Environmental Management, Diesel Mechanic, Tourism, Marketing, Law, Environmental Health, Geomatics, Economic Development, Risk Management, Asset Management, Town-and Regional Planning. Application forms are available at the Eden District Municipality, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00. Only correct and fully completed applications forms will be considered. Certified copies of the following documentation must be attached: - Grade 12 results or equal qualification; - Proof of registration at a university or college; - Latest examinations results of students currently enrolled at tertiary institutions; - Copy of your certified Identity Document; - Affidavit of parents combined income; and - proof of residential address(municipal account).
