#2353: #jhallaAdmin : if anybody cn help plz comment :) :) I am one of the unfortunate lot who is getting fired by TCS as a part of the workforce optimization. The sad part is that my wife is also getting expelled out of TCS. I started my career as a functional tester with TCSer and now I am in the rank of test manager with 8 years exp. I liked my company so much and I had worked day and night, test case after test case in my earlier days. I was in continuous night shifts for one year as a test environment in charge. I have lost hairs, developed high BP and in fact completely out of proper health with TCS. Owing a monthly EMI of 30K for my recently bought apartment and the school fee of our little kid in her first standard and an ageing parents who need dialysis and physiotherapy, I am seriously confused about the future. My wife is also about to get her pink slip in next week, she told. I was at least hopeful that her salary would be suffice. Of course, I have the earned leave balance which will be enough for next three months within which at least one of us should get a job. Thankfully I didnt get any vehicle loan and I am selling my bike also to my relative to get some 15K this month end. The biggest mistake I did was .. I did not try for any switch of jobs or even ask for on-site positions. My wife was an active developer and she turned down her on site chances just for the sake of marriage and now she is regretting her decisions. Can we both meet the HR to do something about it. Need your honest comments. I have also shown an improvement in performance and my delivery manager admitted that there was no issues/escalations for the team I was leading. Not sure where I was found misfit.
