A Cowboy Action Shooting Annual Match at Ridgecrest, California Robbers Roost Vigilantes will be holding their GREAT ANNUAL COWBOY SHOOT COMPETITION SASS Cowboy shooting in Ridgecrest, CA at the Ridgecrest Gun Range RGRA. Dates: May 15, 16, and 17. PLACE: Ridgecrest Gun Range, Robbers Roost Vigilantes Range. The Robbers Roost Vigilantes and GUNS4US announce Defend the Roost (DTR), Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, May 15, 16, 17, 2014. There will be 20 + side matches and a night black powder shoot on Thursday, and 5 main stages each on Friday and Saturday. Most side matches are included in the entry fee. SASS rules apply. Free and close dry camping is available at the shooting range. There are also multiple motels/hotels close by too. Entry fee also includes lunch Friday and Saturday, chili cook off and pot luck Friday night, and dinner and awards banquet Saturday night in the big tent on the range. Extra meals for guests are available at additional cost, as is membership in the Yelping Coyote Saloon. Entry fee is $80, $70 significant other, and $25 Junior. Buckaroos shoot free.
