3 OUT OF 4 FOR PAUL Our 4th league race was held last night and although you could nearly poke down the rain at 1 stage, mother nature looked after us. The A1/A2/A3 which was away 1st, was a very mixed bag with lads jumping every few kms. First to go was Declan but having broken a pedal at the very start of the race he hadn’t got the confidence to stand up so he just rode along with the bunch Paul and Brian Cullen made the last jump with about 6km to go with Paul just getting the better of Brian on the line.. This brings Paul up to 3wins out of 4 races with a 3rd in the 4th race to boot. RESULTS 1st Paul Kinch Slipstream CC 2nd Brian Cullen Barrow Wheelers 3rd Joe Christian Seeng.iePetdepot 4th James Maddock Wexford Wheelers 5th Seamus Sinnott Wexford Wheelers 6th Diarmuid Kavanagh SERC The A4 race was seemingly a very “stop start” race with a few breaks been tried. The last break came from Paul Bolger (winner of the Des Hanlon a couple of months ago) who was joined by Albert Walsh and Paul taking 1st spot from Albert. SERC had the usual successful race plan in place but with a combination of possibly leaving it too late and other riders getting smarter, last night wasn’t to be one of their nights. Brendan has learned the hard way too and didn’t get caught out last night by been out of position and took a great sprint to bag himself 3rd ahead of a raging field. Should be a good shoot out next week for the final night.
