31 DAYS OF APOSTOLIC PRAYERS CONTINUES DAY 22: NIGERIAN ARMY 1. Pray a passionate prayer for the Nigerian Army that there will be unity of purpose and professionalism. b. Pray that God will expose the high level corruption; decay and rot in the Nigerian Army, and that God will restore back the lost glory of the Nigerian Army. c. Pray and come against the spirit of religious division within the Nigerian Army. Pray also that as they carry on their duty, they will do so without sentiments. d. Also pray for the army hierarchy, i.e. Chief of Army Staff, G.O.C.s, Brigade Commanders, and C.O’s to unit commanders. Raise a prayer cover for the entire Police Force. Pray that God will give them the heart, to come out a reformed and transformed POLICE Force. b. Pray and deal with the spirit of “CORRUPTION” in the Police Force that God will intervene and corruption will be reduced to its barest minimum c. Pray for the Police hierarchy: The I.G, Area Commanders, Police Commissioners, Deputy/Assistant Commissioners and D.P.Os. Pray for the rain of righteousness, justice and due process to prevail in execution of their duties. Key Verses: Prov. 1:7; 14:34; 29:4; Eccl. 12:13; Ezek. 36:26-31 DAY 24: CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION 1. Pray for the Nigeria Custom and Immigration Services that they will carry out their duties of manning the borders of this country; prevent illegal immigrants or non-indigenes from coming into this country illegitimately. Pray also that they will check the proliferation of arms and ammunitions from our airports and seaports and our borders. b. Pray and come against every form of injustice and religious sentiments in this paramilitary organization. c. Pray for the Comptroller of Customs, Immigrations and all their Lieutenants, that the spirit of corruption will be reduced to the barest minimum. Raise a prayer cover for the Educational Sector; that there will be a remarkable improvement in the present decay that is being witnessed in the sector, that the lost glories of the sector will be restored. b. Pray and come against every form of strike action in this sector that the government will wake-up to it’s responsibility and making good their promises. c. Pray for the reformation and transformation of the Educational sector. d. Also pray for its leadership, the Minister, Permanent Secretary and Directors that they will Administer in the Fear of God so that they’ll be Effective and Efficient in carrying out their duties. Pray passionately for the Energy sector that the genuine efforts of Mr. President will not be scuttled and frustrated by some individuals or groups, that the good intentions of Mr. President for a stable power will be backed by God Himself. b. Pray, command and expose all corrupt officials of the Power / Energy Sector, that God will visit them with judgment and disgrace them. c. Also pray for the Minister and all the Heads of that Sector to carry out their duties in the fear of God. d. Raise a prayer and cry out to God that the high level corruption going on in this sector will be judged by God Himself. b. Pray that God will give the president the “will Power” to deal with and bring to book and prosecute the so called “Cabals” and “Oil Cartels” c. Pray that Human elements will allow the refineries to work. d. Pray for the leadership of this sector namely: the Minister, GMD NNPC, Permanent Secretary, and Directors that they will administer in the Fear of the Lord, be effective, efficient, productive and result oriented in executing their duties. Raise a prayer cover for the financial sector and the economy of Nigeria that the economy will be buoyant and that God will give the administrators the wisdom to manage the wealth and finances of this nation efficiently and effectively; and also pray and cry out for judgment on the corrupt officials of this sector that God will visit them with judgment. b. Pray for its leadership, namely: the Minister, Permanent Secretary, and Directors that they will administer in the fear of God, be effective, efficient and result oriented in carrying out their duties. Key Verses: Psa. 89:14; Prov. 9:10; 14:34; Job 28:28; Acts 10:34 DAY 29: AVIATION SECTOR 1. Pray passionately for this sector, that the Nigerian air space will be safe for flying. b. Pray and ask God to expose and judge all corrupt officials and operators of that industry. c. Pray for its leadership, namely: the Minister, Permanent Secretary, and Directors that they will administer in the fear of God, be effective, efficient and result oriented in carrying out their duties. Key Verses: Psa. 89:14; Prov. 14:34; Job 28:28; 2 Sam. 23:2-4; Acts 10:34 DAY 30: NIGERIAN NAVY 1. Raise a prayer cover for the Nigerian Navy. Pray for the unity of purpose and professionalism. b. Come against the spirit of disunity and religious divisions. Pray that they will carry out their duty of defending the territorial waters of Nigeria. c. Pray and cry out to God to expose and judge every “Cabal” of bunkering and corruption in the Navy. d. Pray for the Chief of Naval Staff and his F.O.Cs that they will rule in the fear of God. Pray a passionate prayer for these regions, that there will be sustainable peace and tranquility. b. Pray also for the Fear of the Lord, pray against all incidents of violence, lawlessness, kidnapping and bloodshed. c. Pray for a total revival, repentance and acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus over these regions. Also pray for God’s grace upon missionaries to these regions.
