36 months of changing lives to ensure that the Corps has been impacted in a positive way. Recruiting is a duty of high highs and low lows. With many spinning glass plates that you dare not let fall while at the same time holding up an anvil that never let up as the pressure is always on. At times the anvil has a few hot coals added to it to test your true resolve. While I have completed this chapter in my career I know that I have done the most challenging and rewarding job the Marine corps has to offer. MARINE CORPS RECRUITING is a true test of spirituality I have faced thus far. Prayer: dear Heavenly Father I come to you today full of humility and shame. For I am a sinner unworthy another day in your presence. I come to you now Lord ready and willing to surrender all that I am for all that you want me to be. I asked that you make me a better person than yesterday you allow me to share your word where someone today to impact the future of tomorrow. I ask that you allow me to keep my morals pointing true north my spirituality focused on your glory and my leadership as just as you are. Let us use King David as an example while I am here on this duty. Let us tend to our sheep and be humble when we are chosen to fulfill a duty that is chosen before a specifically. Let us not lose sight of the great powers and influence that we possess that we may not fall because we have a bath Sheba syndrome . but let us overcome any obstacles as we are not perfect but when we know we have fallen short of your glory we surrender our selves face down at your feet begging and pleading that you not take it out on our Marines or are pulleys but only on me for as leaders we are all accountable even though we may not always be responsible. As I throw myself at your feet Lord I ask that you anoint me once more as you know my heart changing lives and bringing your children back. May you bless everyone that continues to have adversity Mau surely bless every recruiter that knows and means well that their moral compass points true north and nothing shall come between them and you. Let us not forget as recruiters we are facing the toughest job the Marine Corps has to offer but let us also not forget that we have brothers and sisters still fighting a good fight overseas and let them they are motivation and drive to replenish this beloved Corps with quality character men and women that understands that everything happens for a reason and the greatest sacrifice is a man giving his life for a friend. Thank you to all the families that are working to keep their spouses uplifted during this time of recruiting I know it has not been easy but I promise you it was surely worth it . #easyday, #MARINES, #FOODFORTHOUGHTS, #punchyouintheface
