5 months today we sadly said goodbye to Dad, my hero and best buddy. Christmas Day was such an important day for Dad as family meant everything. Who will dissect the pip from the cherry in what was the surgical masterpiece of the day? Who will spill red wine and blame it on us kids? Who will quietly disappear only to be found fast asleep on the sun lounge and manage to get a tan all in one? Who will tell jokes (that we have heard so many times before) but deliver them like its the first time youve told them -and weve heard them? Bertie-boy you were the glowing light on Christmas Day, and now the Angel at the absolute TOP of the tree!! Miss you daily, love you always x In memory of Bert Gaudion..... We got married last Friday, my girl was right there beside me, our friends are all gone, were all alone.....Side by Side. We were happily wed when, she got ready for bed then, her teeth and her hair, she put on the chair....Side by Side. One glass eye so tiny, one hearing aid so small, then she screwed her leg off, and put them all on the chair by the wall. I laid their broken hearted, most of my girl had departed, so I slept on the chair, there was more of her there......Side by Side!!!
