7/14 @ 10a ct post per SOAR: Status of D20 in surgery recovery: The Decorah juvenile eagle will be seen by Dr. Dirks sometime this week for another x-ray to check on bone healing. Well know more after the visit. Note from this page: WHEN there is a status that SOAR updates us on, it will be posted, I promise :) - SOAR has many patients they tend to along with wonderful educational events they present. Right now, our sweet D20 juvie is recouping in his boyish-blue cast; for a moment, think of yourself or friend that had broken leg or arm, there really is no daily update to make at that stage; just time needed for healing. Our boy is eating well, has a roomie for company, and is just biding time so wing can heal... no worries and when updates happen, they will be posted !!!
