8/14/13 - Baby is now in the SUPER URGENT album. Please continue to share because Baby is NOT safe. Baby was 14 of 14 on NYACCs Kill List for 8/13/13. Baby is sitting in the Manhattan shelter waiting for someone to save her. Please share to find a foster or adopter tonight because tomorrow will be to late for this girl. A volunteer writes: "I spotted Baby the day she arrived at the Manhattan Care Center and I had my chance to take her out today. What a beauty, athletic looking and so feminine at the same time. Her coat is gorgeous, elegant, well groomed and her eyes are so eloquent and full of feelings. Baby is ready as I come to her door. She is all wiggely and excited. She is leashed without fuss and happy go lucky to go for a walk. She eliminates as we leave the building and walks beautifully by my side. Baby met a number of dogs in a very civil way but her hackles went up with a very pushy peer. In a pen, leash free, Baby comes when called and sits on command. For treats too of course that she catches expertly by jumping in the air. She is really good at this game. Baby is a wonderful lap dog, a great kisser and hugger. She is so affectionate and needy of human love and attention. Baby is a gorgeous mature female, very friendly and loving whose behavioral evaluation seems to indicate she woud do best as a single pet. Such households do exist.
