8월 13일, 패터슨 대사와 포가티 교육/과학 참사관은 Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering와 한국연구재단이 공동 추진하는 호주-한국 선도연구자 단기 인력 교류 프로그램에 참여하게 될 여섯 명의 연구자들과 호주 출국하기 전 브리핑 시간을 가졌습니다. 연구자들은 2주간 호주에서 하게 될 연구 및 관심 분야에 대해 발표하였습니다. On 13th August, Ambassador Paterson and Education & Science Counsellor Fogarty provided a briefing for six Korean researchers prior to their departure to Australia as participants in the Australia-Korea Emerging Research Leaders Exchange Program, a project developed in collaboration between the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) and the Korean National Research Foundation (NRF). The researchers spoke about their specific research interests and outlined what they would be doing during their time in Australia.
