Megan Demarkis Talent Development Harlem RBI | DREAM Charter School -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DREAM POSITIONS DREAM MIDDLE SCHOOL DIRECTOR is a confident and committed school leader who serves as the founding director of our Middle School program. Must have 5 years experience in school leadership with a strong background in inclusion and team teaching. DREAM 5th GRADE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (ELA) is a creative and dedicated educator with a minimum of 2 years experience as the lead teacher in a classroom and Special Education certification. Must have a strong interest and some experience in working with a co-teacher in an inclusion setting. DREAM Science Teacher (K-3) is a enthusiastic and adaptable teacher with a passion for teaching science. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as the lead teacher in a classroom or as a cluster teacher with elementary grades. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HARLEM RBI POSITIONS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF EAST HARLEM PROGRAMS is a senior program leader with the ability to oversee the entire continuum of Harlem RBI’s flagship K through college program to ensure high quality implementation and capacity for expansion. Must have at least eight years experience in non-profit program management and a background in youth development. HS PROGRAM COORDINATOR is a strong believer in the power of youth development who has record of success in engaging high school youth in a group and one on one setting. Must enjoy collaborating with peers and have at least 2 years experience working with youth in a school or after-school program. VOLUNTEER MANAGER is a confident communicator with excellent organizational skills who will recruit, manage and retain the 200+ volunteers that help Harlem RBI fulfill its mission every year. A Bachelor’s degree and experience working with volunteers or with a service oriented organization is required. COACHING FELLOWS are student/athletes who serve as mentors to youth in middle or high school, on the field and off. Coaching Fellows are members of the Americorps Service program and receive a living allowance, health insurance and an education award for their service. A minimum completion of 60 college credits and experience working with youth is required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART TIME POSITIONS AFTER SCHOOL TEACHERS are energetic educators with a talent for getting elementary and middle school youth excited about learning. A background in teaching Literacy (Grades K-5) or Arts (Grades 6-8) and a willingness to teach in a non-traditional after school program is required. Program operates from October-June from 2pm-6pm, Monday to Friday. AFTER SCHOOL LEARNING COACHES are talented youth workers who are college oriented, who believe in the power of teams and understand how to implement high quality after school programs. Must be willing to commit to serve a minimum of 5 days (20 hours) a week. Program operates from October to June, 2pm-6pm, at our South Bronx and East Harlem Campuses. Coaches at our East Harlem site will be enrolled in the Americorps Service program.
