A Fine Summer Freshet ! We had a helluva freshet (lovely old term for a rainfall/flood event) yesterday/today with about 6.5 inches of rain at LCNP so far, and the Reedy peaked at about 3400 cfs yesterday about mid-day on 31 July at the dam (video attached). Reedy flows went from 26 cfs (typical summer lows) to 2600 cfs in four hours at the Mauldin Rd gage. I have to go inspect the trails for damage, fresh trash deposits, etc. this afternoon.... the gifts of Greenvilles runoff that just keep on giving. DLH-140801
