A Gentleman in his early 70’s was feeling his oats one day and decided he was going to do something out of character. He always wanted a fancy sports car and decided that he would make a trip to the local Chevy dealer. Once there he looked around in the showroom and decided he was going to buy the Corvette that was center stage. After the transaction he found himself driving a bit vigorously down the interstate and didn’t notice that he was a bit over the speed limit until he looked in the mirror and saw flashing lights. The Gentleman decided that he was going to live life on the edge and placed a bit more pressure on the gas pedal. The officer was falling a little bit behind but was relentless in his pursuit so Hot Rod Harry turned up the speed and realized he was approaching the 120 mark when he thought to himself “This is ridiculous, at my age I should be more responsible before I hurt someone” so he decided that he would pull over and face his punishment. A few minutes passed and the State Trooper walked up to the car and said “Sir, it’s Friday and I’m 30 minutes from shifts end and I really don’t want to do any paperwork. If you can tell me a story that I haven’t heard then you are free to go” The Gentleman thought for a moment and said “Officer, about 3 years ago my wife ran off with a State Trooper and I thought you were bringing her back” The Officer smiled… Have a good night Sir!
