A NOTION ABOUT ISLAM DATE SUNDAY-25-5-2014 Tami: let me give you a very simple example. Let us suppose that a merchant bought 10000 tons of wheat from a wheat producing country and he paid 5000 dollars as a price for this wheat. He used a hired ship to transport the load of wheat to his country. He took a plane to go home as the ship was going to take two weeks to arrive. The transport charges besides loading and unloading the ship were 1000 dollars, and the plane tickets cost him 500 dollars. When this merchant came home, he calculated how much he paid and wrote a list as follows: 5000 dollars (wheat price) 1000 dollars (The transport charges besides loading and unloading the ship) 500 dollars (plane tickets cost) 500 dollars (expenses) -------------------------------------------------------- 7000 dollars in total A NOTION ABOUT ISLAM DATE-SUNDAY-25-5-2014 Mohammedan Biography Mohammedan Biography The life of Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him and his daily activities which were a practical reflection of the teachings of Allah that are mentioned in the holy Quran Though the first three years of calling for Islam were characterized by secrecy, a big number of people embraced the new faith. Then when Allah through inspiration by the angel Jibril told the prophet to call for Islam in public, he began fo find hostility among many people that formed great handicaps before the future of the new faith. The verses in the Quran that incited the prophet to start calling for Islam in public were in Surah Hijir in the verses 94,95 and 96 that read So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters.Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, who set some other god along with Allah, but they will come to know.Well know We that thy bosom is at times oppressed by what they say,But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). And serve thy Lord till the inevitable cometh unto thee.As a result of calling for Islam in public, most Molems received torture and severe punishment in all aspects of their lives. In the fourth year after the start of Islam, Qurish focused on punishing the weak Moslems like Bilal Bin Rabah and Suhaib Al-Romee to the extent that Abu-Jahal punished the whole family of Al-Yasser.He killed the father before his son and stabbed the mother till death ,so Sumaiah was the first martyr in Islam. Hamza Bin Abd Al-Mutaleb, the prophets uncle and Omar Bin Al-Khatab were famous for strength, firmness and severity and so when they embraced Islam, a big number of weaker people who couldnt declare their faith found it a good opportunity to witness that there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is His massenger. Still Qurish went on punishing their weak slaves who showed love to the justice of Islam. In consequence, the prophet peace be upon him allowed Moslems to immigrate to Habasha through Al-Shuaibah port that lies to the south of Mecca on the Red Sea. A NOTION ABOUT ISLAM DATE-SATURDAY-24-5-2014 SIGNS OF THE DAY OF JUDGMENT HAVE BECOME CLOSE SO PREPARE YOURSELF AND BEWARE. · It happened that I faced financial troubles that took place of a sudden. My son needed money for the university as the fees were very high. Even though I had good income, but for living under certain circumstances, I ran into financial troubles and I couldnt manage my sons fees. Therefore, I thought of buying a bus by taking a loan from the Islamic bank and to work on it to distribute the sweats that Hammam manufactured besides some other sweets and biscuits among the shops. My son told me that he had to pay the fees within a month. So, I looked for a bus and found a good one and went to the Islamic bank to finish the arrangements of getting the signatures of two officials depositing their monthly salaries in the bank. I finished all this in one day and by the evening, I told the bus-owner that I would give him the price of the bus on the morning of the next day in the bank. I accompanied my son and went home. My son asked me to consult Hammam about the way I could follow to trade in the sweets as he had good experience about that. I knocked at the door of the house where Hammam lived and asked him how to trade with sweets and told him about the bus that I was going to buy, but he wanted to know where I got the money from. I told him about the Islamic bank that was the source where I wanted to take the money from. He told me to look up at my building and asked me how many stories I had, I replied that I was having three, but he said that they would be gone and I would lose them if I took money from even an Islamic bank as they violate openly the prophet Muhammad sayings who said, In Islam it is not allowed to combine between two sales and have them as one sale. This means that in my case the bank officials asked me to find a bus and I did .The bus- owner wanted to sell it for me for 5000 $.. The bank pays the bus-owner 5000 $. This is the first sale, but the bank takes from me about 6200$ divided on monthly payments. This is the second sale .This is usury and Hammam told me not to take that money because I would only gain the wrath of Allah in this world and the hereafter. He gave me good evidence from the holy Quran and from the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) regarding usury and I was convinced and tore the papers I got from the bank. Later on the next day the financial troubles kept me awake all night and during the day I found myself walking to and for in the street deep in thought how to get the money for paying the high university fees of my son.
