A Nova Scotia judge is expected to rule today on whether the Loretta Saunders homicide case will proceed to trial. Police have charged Blake Leggette and Victoria Henneberry with first-degree murder. A publication ban has been placed on evidence that was presented during the preliminary hearing in Halifax last week. Saunders, a 26-year-old Inuit woman from Labrador, was reported missing from her apartment in February. Her body was found in a wooded area along the Trans-Canada Highway in New Brunswick about two weeks later.
