A POWER SOURCE! Every living thing needs a power source. Plants sustains their life while the sun shines, they gather enough glucose through the process of photosynthesis; the moment the sun stops shining, they begin to feed on the glucose until the next time theyre powered by the sun to gather more glucose. Without the sun, plants will never get their true color. The sun is responsible for the green color in plant. A plant that grows with little sun but more water may grow to become yellow in color. Many individuals have lost their true color because they dont have a power source. When a plant lacks glucose, it begins to dry up; that is how many human destinies are dried up because their spiritual glucose is dried up. Many christians believe that power came upon them the day they surrendered their lives to Jesus; well, thats true, but it is one thing for power to come upon you, and its another thing to discover what has come upon you. It takes discovery to be convinced, and manifestation is not in view until there is a conviction! The difference between a Christian that is making waves and another who is feeling aches is power! No living thing is created to be without power, no! Living things are created to have a power source, and man is not excluded from this principle. A powerless christian is still a prey to the devil. It is not enough to surrender your life to Jesus, you also need to give your heart to Him. In Prov 23:26 the bible says; My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways. That also means that it takes a heart for God to know the ways of God. And those who know the ways of God shall be strong and theyd do exploits. Please understand me; the God you dont know cannot be your power source, because when something wrong happens to you - youd say God is testing you. And the God that I know does not test or tempt his children. The problem with many believers is that they know theyve given their life to Christ, but they dont know the Christ they gave their life to! if you put your money in a bank for instance, youd do everything to know concrete things about the bank; because when the bank drops your money drops. Thats how it is with God; if you cant identify the God you gave your life to then you may never experience His works, even if you do experience His works - you may have doubts that He is the doer! Plants know that the sun is their power source, and they cant gather glucose except the sun is up; so they take advantage of the sun when it shines! What do you know about your God? You need power! The world is full of darkness and cruelty. If you dont know where you belong - it wont be long before the devil stocks you! The battle of life is against principality and powers, and against wickedness in high places. Principality means a ruler in charge of a particular state, region or place. That also means poverty, sickness and diseases are different spiritual places. If youre poor for instance, then it means youre living in the territory of the rulers of poverty. And as long as you remain poor, they have rule over you! The fact that youre sick means youre living in a territory of sickness, where sickness itself is the ruler. You cant be in a hot place and not feel the heat. No matter how feverish you may be, you cant deny the presence of the sun! Finally, you cant come out of darkness except you have adequate access to light! And the bible makes us to understand that God is Light! And it is the entrance of the word that brings light! If you must see light then you must know his word! Gods word is the switch that turns on Gods light! I think I should stop here! May God give us understand! Inspired By: The Holy Spirit
