Should i continue schooling? Should I go into the labour market? Sure, I knew that salary job was not for me. The plight of employees working for someone; Being married to one’s job, sleeping late, waking up early, working on weekends, fighting traffic jams, boring meetings. Success was bleak. I feared growing up not knowing my children and not spending quality time with them. I cringed earning salaries where there will be ‘’too many months at the end of the money’’. I feared doing jobs I hate and not being in control of my time, place to work, and worst of all being trapped- Entering a Rat Race- working for 35 years and retiring poor. I hated it even before I started – I knew that those who entered with the view of saving enough to start with small business never really make it. When I traveled to Ghana, and heard of Residual income, it caught my interest. When I saw a distributor given a brand new BMW car, I challenged myself asking, HOW DO I BECOME A REGISTERED DISTRIBUTOR? At the point of meeting the Tiens opportunity, I had no money to register. I directed all my contacts to go get registered through Late Ogwo Kalu my dad, Mr. Sogbo Cephes, Mr. Henry Uzuegbu- Mr. Henry gave me a gift of a life time -$20 for my registration. I went to sleep believing that Tiens business can only be done when one is a lot comfortable. I was wrong. I went into shoe business, second- hand clothing, rain coat, etc. By the time I dedicated myself to reading books on MLM, I realized how wrong I was . I had already started seeing the rapid rag to riches transformation in the lives of other Tiens distributors. One day I had a dream, I saw myself waving at poverty. ‘’ if I am the one that brought them into Tiens, then I can find more of them’’- I assured myself. It’s just a matter of time!!! It was really discouraging to find myself in 4 Star level when my downlines were in 8 Star Level and no help from anyone. Prof. Oliver Eke encouraged me in making a comeback into mainstream Tiens and when I saw myself in 8 STAR LEVEL- My first bonus in tiens was $2 and i borrowed $100 to travel to Ghana where i registered to collect it. You can imagine the frustration and disappointment i got on getting the check. If Tiens can pay me $2 then they can pay me millions, I assured myself. how true i was!!! I got my first big harassment from tiens with a bonus of $6000 in 8 star. Before then a lot of competing companies came, luring me to switch company. Fortunately I read from Mark Yannell that nobody in MLM that puts his feet in two network marketing companies and succeeds and l believed him. persistence was synonymous with Network Marketing. l decided that I will never quit until I strike. What particularly helped me was, 1. total believe in the company Tiens. 2. Passion for the Tiens products. 3. Believe in the compensation plan. I was not born a good leader but i decided to imitate Chairman Li Jin Yuan philosophy—perfecting his fellowship 1. I Re-invest 55.5% of my Tiens monthly bonus back into Tiens business. 2. I produce books, CDS & flyers to ease sponsorship of newer distributors. 3. I really sponsor people and not just register them. 4. I understood from the beginning how big I am going to become and I always starts my day with a CEO of fortune 500 company’s mindset. 5. I compete with myself and train all in Tiens business no matter the network they belong. Amiably referred to as GRAND PA in TIENS Nigeria, I get excited every time, not because of the money I make but because of the lives that are influenced. MY SADDEST MOMENTS? 1. REGISTERING PEOPLE AND THEY FALL OFF THE BUSINESS LIKE PACK OF CARDS WITH THE FIRST FEW REJECTIONS 2. I still see people who are struggling in the rat race and when I tells them, ‘‘I have a solution for them and they have closed mind. Whatever is the reason, I pray that one day their hearts will be open when they read this ‘rag to riches story’. BEST MOMENTS? 1. SEEING THE ONCE CRITICS OF TIENS COME TO ME VOLUNTARILY AND SAY, I AM IN 2. WHEN I SEE THE THE NUMEROUS FAMILIES THAT ARE ARE BENEFITING FROM THE HEALTH AND WEALTH OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE I REFUSED TO QUIT. 3. WHEN A FEW TOP DISTRIBUTORS LAUNCHED A SYSTEM THAT CHANGED THE FACE OF TIENS BUSINESS IN NIGERIA - THE TIENS MEGA-NET SYSTEM. My relationship with Tiens is no longer just about making money, it is about personal development-helping others everyday to achieve their own dream. TIENS has really transformed my life. poverty dealt me and my family a big blow and l am happy to be part of the facilitators of the FUNERAL OF POVERTY in my family. may that be your portion. APPRECIATION? 1st, Chairman Li for his great vision to affect the lives of all positively all Tiens staff. 2. My uplines business associates, Ademantete, Sogbo, and my late dad for doing what his contemporaries from Abiriba would not have done. 3. My team of vibrant independent distributors whose monthly little persistent contribution has given us all success. 4. The emotional support from the SHE (hahahahaahahah) at home and all my fans home and abroad. i am inspired when you are motivated to take that last shut which if you did not, the story would have been different. Less l forget, this success story cannot be complete without you!!! Make a decision to be part of this, and with me and my team support you will succeed!!! Thanks a million Onyx Kalu for sharing this powerful journey... Merry Christmas..
