A RESTORATION FOR YOU THIS NOVEMBER 2 Kings 8:5 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life. 8:6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 This is the story of the Shunammite woman whose son Elisha restored in II Kg 4:10-37. Elisha gave her a prophetic word about an impending 7-year famine over the land where she dwelt, for which he told the woman to sojourn wherever soever. The woman with her household went into the land of the Philistines for asylum. After 7 years had passed, she return to her homeland only to discover that her land and other valuables had been trespassed and encroached upon. Her maturity took her into the kings court for counsel and redress. For what would appear as a coincidence, the king at that cairos time was enjoying testimonies of Elishas exploit from Gehazi, Elishas servant. Lo and behold! As Gehazi spoke to the king about the Shunammite woman, the woman appeared in the kings court. Quick ref: Isa 65:24-And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Praise God!!! Before the woman could even come in to make her case, some God-sent man was already there to conclude the agenda for her meeting with the king. Her task was made easy; her trauma about how she was going to start her message and the fear of how the king was going to respond was all were taken care of before she came. Because it was her cairos-time for divine appointment and visitation the rules had to favour her. At this, the king: 1. reinstated her, 2. assigned her a special body guard, 3. decreed a restoration of all the her losses, 4. asked for the processing of all documents pertaining to an outright payment of all her ex-gratia, as well as, 5. all calculable earnings on her property over the 7-year famine period. What a mighty GOD we serve? Today, I make a decree over your life that you are receiving a divine appointment of the kind that only GOD can explain. You will be reinstated and promoted within two weeks of your appointment.
