A SPRING CALL TO GATHER & JOURNEY IN LOVE TOGETHER :: Philadelphia :: April 17th-20th, 2014 Two riddles: Whats the difference between a *Gatherette* & *a bunch of faeries gathering intentionally to celebrate a season cycle, each other, & a way of Life?* & What is the collective potential of a group with no one in charge ? --------------------------- Springs around the corner. Life bursts forth. The soft skins of many creatures show themselves to the world -- as the Philly Fae continue to explore urban sanctuary, & the Do It (Y)Ourself model of gathering. This spring -- April 17th - 20th -- we take it a little deeper with a transcendence-themed *coming together*. Is this a gathering? Maybe it is & maybe it isnt -- your desires & your clear intentions make anything so. This one is likely to be quieter than the last -- maybe its so quiet, it leaves no trace of itself, except in heart space & tribal memory. It could spring-breeze through town & you might not even know it... unless you make it your own -- & make it ours by offering your unique passion to it. Calling shaman, witches, gardeners, crafters, explorers, psychonauts, herbalists, adventurers, lovers, FAERIES!! The Philly Fae invite you to dance, play, sing, drum, smoke, explore, & breathe together. Two flagships sail through Philly 4/20 weekend -- one, an intentions-forward dance & journey space hosted by Tree, going by the handle DANCE CHURCH; & two, the Starship Lollipops 11th Annual The Grass is Always Greener Party. This is a weekend for journeying, whether or not you live in Philly, & whether or not you partake in any particular transformative medium. Our attentions will likely float between: DIY shamanic experience; how we make ritual; how we use substances; & how we welcome spring (& one another) as a cultural faemily. Our intentions for Dance Church & the weekend include: - to offer teas for consumption where everyone can share regardless of finance - to hold intention circles before journeying - to offer solidarity with one other while prohibition continues - to foster radically inclusive space for those who journey with substance added & those who do not, WHILE... - creating safe-space, where all are conscious & mindful of what we consume, our actions (including erotically charged ones), and how those actions affect the space & others around you. Already on the developing Program Menu in addition to Dance Church & the Grass is Always Greener Party, are: - a long walk through the Wissahickon - a Healthy-Use Support & Heart Circle - Bicycling along the Schuykill River - What would you like to add??? So where do you come in? Everywhere you feel called to serve. Surely, Tree needs help preparing his space. We need DJs too for Dance Church. Both the Starship & Trees will need someones at the door.
