A TREE FALLS IN A WOODS ... IS IT MAKING A STATEMENT? As a freshman in college Tom Cassin suffered a series of traumatic events. His MOTHER DIED suddenly, he had a FAILED ROMANCE, and he was enduring the STRESS of fraternity hazing. As he is questioning his BELIEF IN GOD he joins a group of guys on a fishing trip. Deeply troubled he takes a walk in the woods, lies down on the grass, looks to the blue sky and asks, “Do I believe in God, or don’t I? He then shortens it to: “DO I, or DON’T I?” At the very instant he cries out his answer ... “YES!” ... he hears a LOUD CRACKING sound! A huge, century-old tree crashes to the ground! He feels it’s a Godwink meant to catch his attention and give him the faith he needs to continue in his studies. •••• Most of us have questioned the existence of God at one time or another. But, like Tom, it’s critical that we SEE and HEAR God’s CONFIRMATION for our plea’s. When something so extraordinary happens ... not a second or two later, but the very millisecond that Tom was crying out “Yes” ... he KNEW from that moment on, that God was ALWAYS AT HIS SIDE.
