A belfie, if you do not know, is a selfie taken of your butt. I hadnt heard the term until I began the research for an article I was assigned to write on Jen Selter, an internet sensation for posting such pics. What started as the process of tracking her workout progress on Instagram has now grown now grown 4-million-follower platform for her to dispense fitness and nutrition advice, and to boot(y), she has a new column in the New York Post. Being fit does not always a fitness expert make, however, and sometimes said advice is outdated. Selter appears to takes her role as fitness motivator seriously and Im hopeful she will rise to the occasion to be an educator eventually. What do you think?
