A challenging and encouraging first day today, at HTBs Leadership Conference: a call to deeper friendships within our churches by Nicky Gumbel; leadership lessons on clarity of thoughts, and courage; a heart-breaking testimony from the Warrens after the loss of their son to mental illness - including instruction to churches to go behind just welcoming the mentally sick, but to want them; and - for those who were there - an inspiring invitation to obey and go deeper with the Holy Spirit in our prayer and congregational lives, from Mike Pilavachi. Powerful stuff! And thats only the warm-up, with more tonight and tomorrow, plus heavenly worship, old friends, and new. Cant wait until Sunday... More Lord! Were you there? What did you enjoy?
