A common misconception many mainstream sectarian Muslims have with Quranists is that they think Quranists are religionists like them. So what if Quranists disagree on whatever interpretation there is between one another or a few? It doesnt warrant a fight. You have your views and the next person has his or hers. No one forces their views on anyone. Why? Because Quranists arent religionists. There is no institutionalized religion in the true sense. There is only faith in a higher power and a way of life BUT if you dont believe that then its fine because unlike religionists, Quranists dont shove their beliefs down other peoples throats. The perception of chaos from disagreement in interpretatiom is only a view seen through the eyes of institutionalized religion. Can we blame them? Of course not. Sectarian Muslims have been indoctrinated and on top that have been killing every other opposing sect since like forever. So assuming others do to on their part is expected. What is alarming to see is that many sectarian Muslims quickly debunk the Quran to defend sectarian beliefs. The Quran is complete and perfect. That should be the starting point. After all all sects believe that, so they say, but somehow they all use other texts as their guide. That is fine but some choose not to use the divisive texts and stick to the one ALL sects agree is the best then what is wrong with that? Unless the sects dont believe the Quran is the best guide and is incomplete?
