A difficult year, perhaps the most difficult year ends ... when we - TopicsExpress

A difficult year, perhaps the most difficult year ends ... when we worked a lot, in which nothing in our lives did matter. Was the year when a new law (of animal protection) has instigated violence, death, murder. More blood flowed ... tens of thousands of souls were killed, not euthanized. Valcea is among the few cities where we, 3 women: Nicoleta, Florentina and Maria, promised that our dogs will be alive, that their lives matter! We are proud that now after 12 months of terror and sleepless nights, with you we can say that yes, in Valcea no dog was put to sleep in the public shelter. From there, from distance, you have contributed greatly by adoption, by supporting, encouraging. We met many people this year, some for the first time, others we have the chance to know better, even if we knew each other for a while. Thus, things have sifted: we saw who we can rely on, we realized who really loves these souls. All these have done nothing to further unite us and give us strength to continue. We were the subject of many discussions, but I think the facts say it all: 783 dogs have found a home this year, left a country that offered them only suffering and mockery, while other dogs left here hope to have their luck. We watched detached the scandals of those that have enough time to do it or have a pleasure in mocking the work of others. We saved from the public shelter over 500 dogs that did not feel the hunger one day, did not know what is the lack of medicines and where we thought more experience is needed, the dogs were sent in the best clinics in Bucharest, where wonderful people treated them and did everything that stood in their power to save them. We have over 100 cases sent to such clinics. We offered equally to all dogs the same chance: young, elderly, mothers and we did not save the dogs under the influence of interests, but by instinct and desire to give them another life. We are proud of all and thank you for your support! We castrated hundreds of dogs, equally: both dogs from our shelter, from the public shelter, and dogs from forests, from the streets or from the yards of people who have asked us for help. We did not turn anyones back. We fed each week the public shelter dogs, as we promised three years ago, we cooked with love for the mothers with puppies or orphan puppies captured there and we arrived to them regardless of the weather or our health. There were days when the cold weather put us down, the rain did not let us see one meter in front, but we were there ... we encouraged each other. It brought us closer and more, the fact that we end this year in the same formula says much. Thank you for your support, for encouragement, for seriousness! Thank you for existing!
