A few weeks ago, well more than a few, my grandpa went in for a surgery and there were a few complications, to say the least. The nurses and doctors call him the miracle man and I just call him grandpa. He fought for his life and was stronger than any human being I have ever come across. The doctors said at one point he was past critical but he lived to see the next day. The doctors said he wouldnt be able to climb 14 steps or walk again but today he went home and climbed 14 steps and walked into his home like the man we used to know. This man, who I am so proud to call my grandfather, has showed tremendous and unprecedented strength and has beat literally all odds. If a man that was dead a few weeks ago and climbed steps and walked into his own home today isnt enough to make you realize his strength, nothing is because that is not only a miracle but thats pure motivation and strength. My grandpa has overcome all odds and disproved all of the medical professionals that didnt believe in him. I have never been so proud of anyone in my life and have never been so thankful for such an amazing role model. My grandpa has always been one of my best friends and to know hes here for the long haul and is going to stick around means everything to me. Thank you all so much for all of your kind wishes, thoughts and prayers for my grandpa and our family as we all drew such strength from it all. Your support has meant everything to us and we are so proud to say he is alive and well! I love you Grandpa! Love, your number one!
