A journalist, fed up with the Indian economy, decided to ask views of PM Manmohan Singh on sports instead of Indian economy.“Dear PM, which game do you like?” He asked. “Cricket when played in India,” PM said.“Which part of cricket do you like? I mean batting or bowling?”The great economist PM replied: “No, no. I like the toss at the beginning of the match in India.”The journalist knew this response would have deep economic insight. “Why, only toss, sir?”Mr Singh smiled for the first time. “Because it’s the only time when I see our rupee going up.”
