(A little tid-bit from something I am working on...) Without warning many deep voices stated to chant in an unfamiliar tongue. “JANDA, JANDA, NORA, GONU!” These words over and over. The volume, of the chanting, was rising to a deafening pitch. I began to struggle again in distress, my screams drowned out by those four words, “JANDA, JANDA, NORA, GONU!” The noise fell silent, as if it never were, leaving my ears ringing and my throat dry from my terrified screams. The silence was much louder than the chanting. My blindfold was violently torn from my face, the brightness blinding my sight. White stars cleared from my vision. Standing before me was a solitary young man, I’d guess close to my own fledgling years. His skin shone in a dark golden hue, his eyes like liquid amber. Garbed in a bronzed chest plate, and a white linen robe. This man was not just a warrior. He certainly had to be a messenger of his Gods. His presence smouldered, as if he was of a divine creation. ‘Please don’t.’ I whispered as he approached me. We were the only two within this chamber, and I was bound trapped and at his mercy. ‘Janda, janda, nora, gonu.’ He murmured as he reached the concrete slab I was displayed upon. ‘I do not belong here.’ I didn’t know he understood my words. A half smile teased the edge of his lips, and he cocked his head, hazel eyes searching my face. ‘Go forth home little Goddess.’ His voice sang with elation as he reached across and placed his smooth hand on my forehead. ‘Go now!’ he commanded. I gasped as my body quivered under his hand.
