A little update on my vocal surgery and recovery. It has been just over three weeks since surgery. I have been back to the doctor twice now and things are looking good. The vocal chords have healed from the surgery quickly, but there is more subtle changes that we are hoping for. (Reabsorption of the scar tissue). I spent the first week silent. At week two I was able to talk some and it has gotten easier ever since. My range of notes is getting better all the time and on my most recent checkup the doc said I should start singing at home, very quietly. Thats exciting. I sang my first song in four weeks yesterday Carter Family). My voice is kinda week at this point but it is getting stronger. Still, no performance singing until mid to late August at best. I still have a ways to go but its really feeling better all the time. Thank you again for all of your support. Caleb
