A makeup brush cleanse tip : Most over the counter brush - TopicsExpress

A makeup brush cleanse tip : Most over the counter brush cleansers can easily cost you a good 15 to 20 bucks. Heres a mixture you can make at home that works just as well, and you can most likely do it free of charge, in your home. Ingredients: warm water, antibacterial dish soap (preferably dawn because it is so light and gentle) and conditioner or olive oil ( I use conditioner). first : fill a small bowl or container with WARM (not hot or cold because this will significantly dry out your brushes.) water, little bit of your dish soap, and conditioner (or olive oil) . second: slowly swish your brush (one by one) around the mixture. It will take a few seconds for the mix to appear cakey and brown from the makeup. The soap will cleanse out the brushes while the conditioner or olive oil will allow the bristles to remain soft and luscious. third : one by one rinse your brush under WARM water. While rinsing slowing swish your brush back and forth on your hand to rinse completely. fourth : Take all your brushes and wrap a rubber band around them . THIS IS IMPORTANT: shake any excess water off gently. Then place them in a position where the water will drip down the brushes. ( you can wrap the rubber band around a faucet or hook near the sink) so that the water will flow out the bristles easier. if you do not do this, it will take forever for the brushes to dry and they can get puffed out or hard. ---- pretty simple huh? AND it wont cost you much if anything !
