If you are so lucky to have a few plus few co infections life is complicated. But.....information is power. Power has value. Numbers have value. Join the fight againt this horrendous disease today. It knows no boundaries. No social standing. It is clever enough to evade medications by changing form. Self preservation. Its not my disease. Its everyones disease. Its growing. Changing. New strains unidentifiable by any tests currently available under insurances. It can be stopped in its tracks. ...or follow you with a lifetime of pain suffering even the worst outcome. I am exhausted being exhausted. Watching suffering. Suffering myself. Im back. A legitimate disease requires legitimate answers. Not enough funding why? Economic issues.I am sure. Our future Drs lawyers, politicians. Lyme does not tap your door. It grabs the door mat drags the mat and leaves you on your backside. If you are lucky enough to be diagnosed. Failing that you can just spend next 10 yrs more wasting in bed. Economic stimulus? Spend a little gain tens of thousands of lives in the workforce. Allow those kids the opportunity for free college. Most have no idea why they can barely muster the strength and motivation to go. Lets see change. Enough. Look at the numbers of Borrelia Complex..lets not brand the Drs making them scared to treat . Instead let us congratulate them for trying to keep the oath they took after medical school. This hell I and hundreds of thousands worldwide live DOES not make me less a mother. What mother wishes pain on the only beings she lives to see flourish. I lived hell for IGNORANCE for trying to eliminate lyme complex. Ignoring a childs pain is abuse. I wailed. Injustice like I never knew. Next could be you. Your kids in question. Initiate change. I did all I could to STOP my son contracting lyme. Pray he has no lyme. My friends. My divorce has kept me stuck in fear....limbo....remember. if we are to be there to get through this....we cant pick n choose which parts. We committed to stand together. I was an involved member to elicit change. How why? I guess it took getting mad. Furious. No Drs in Hampton Rds? Why? Really? Pls step up stand beside your lyme family. In good in bad. Not enough research? Yet we are coming down in more numbers than certain cancers. I say this having had a brain tumor. Please. We have come so far so proud of you all.....sorry been awol. But...the military bases loaded with ticks! We send our valiant soldiers away with what may or may not be a very sad return. Stand tall as may approaches.
