A new poll released today by Citizens United Political Victory Fund shows State Senator Chris McDaniel leading 41-year incumbent Senator Thad Cochran 43% – 39%. Over the past several weeks, Senator Cochran’s campaign and his cronies in Washington D.C. have ratcheted up their desperate attacks on Chris McDaniel. It is clear the Cochran campaign is so petrified by McDaniel’s lead, they have resorted to lobbing ridiculous accusations and attacks. “I am honored by the outpouring of support from Mississippi voters all across the state,” McDaniel said. “Over the past couple of months, we have logged thousands of miles driving all across the state, from Tupelo to Hattiesburg to Pearl River, spreading our conservative message of limited government and freedom. It is clear Mississippians are rallying to our conservative platform.”
