A new review in today that I thought I would share :) I enjoyed Angel on my Shoulder - its the story of a thirtysomething woman whose guardian angel (we all have one apparently) takes on the challenge of turning round her wards down-in-the-doldrums life after yet another failed relationship ... a bit like Bridget Jones with wings! Its funny, light-hearted though with its share of poignant moments, and downright bawdy in places. Julie Poole acknowledges up front a debt to Its a Wonderful Life - in fact she cleverly intertwines the very same guardian angel who saved James Stewart. Theres also a lovely sense about it of string pulling and lives being manipulated upstairs which reminded me of one of my favourite films - A Matter of Life and Death. My only negative is the high number of typos and grammatical horrors - but I suspect author was let down by editor in that respect. Theres a sequel on its way I gather ....... Thank you for this lovely feedback on Amazon.co.uk. Yes, I have a new editor, thank goodness - the person that edited this (badly) has now left Titans employment. In fact Titan are going to have my book re-edited as this is not the first comment about the poor edit. And yes there is a sequel, due out 25th October. :)
