A parent asks our group: Ok frustrated mom tonight...my 5 year old has spd and chronic constipation. He goes weeks with no accidents and will run and go by himself. Then another week he will have BM accidents daily. I dont know what to do cause even with having him on a sitting schedule its still happening. GI says he may not feel it. But why sometimes and not all the time. I dont always get a straight answer from him. But he doors have trouble with the smell of himself and the noise of toilet. He gags when wiping. Anyone else have similar problems with their spd kiddo?
