A responsible government should establish an inquiry together with IRC to investigate big corporations, mining companies and businesses that have declared loss for more than five years in a row. Lihir Gold Mine and South Sea Tuna Corporation are just a few amongst many others. We politicians especially the NEC Members must not pick and chose cases or entities because we have an issue with them we must take a wider approach to be fair to the country that we serve. There are entities cheating our system they milk funds generated from our country offshore or reinvest into other sectors here and abroad while declaring losses which never raise any eyebrows from IRC and the Government. Sometimes I wonder about those former Prime Ministers congregating around Peter ONeil if they truly served PNG during their times as PM.
