A thinker for you all! - Im sure youve seen Jordan Wolfsons the dancer doing her rounds on the internet via the final art instillation; but I think this video is far more surreal. The robot has advanced facial recognition technology which allows it to lock eyes with the viewers behind her, so she is permanently fixed, she has scuff marks and bruises all over her body and her voice in-between songs is the voice of the artist. I am personally captivated by the smooth movement of the hands and fingers. Do you think it was meant to represent something? Or was it just a work for surrealist titillation? What do you think?
