A wee reminder that if youre visiting patients in the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, a demand-responsive taxi-bus service has been launched by the council The trial service, which is operated by Allthefours on behalf of the council, will not run unless pre-booked by intending passengers at least an hour before they intend to make their journey. The journeys are timed to be convenient for relatives and friends visiting patients in hospital. Services will run when required, picking up at bus stops on a fixed route from Livingston, Uphall, Broxburn, Winchburgh and Newton then direct to the Western General arriving at 1.56pm and 6.26pm.
